How do I send a wire transfer?

Domestic wire transfers are processed same-day if initiated by 3:30 PM EST Monday to Friday.

Here’s how to send a domestic wire transfer from the NorthOne app:

  1. Log in to your NorthOne Account on the mobile app

  2. Click Pay at the top

  3. Click Send a domestic wire

  4. Follow the prompts, making sure to enter the recipient’s name, routing number, account number, and amount of money you want to send

  5. Confirm the information you entered is correct, and click Send payment

Here’s how to send a wire transfer from your web browser:

  1. Log in to your NorthOne Account online

  2. Click Send money on the left side

  3. Click Send a wire transfer and Continue

  4. Choose the recipient you’d like to send the funds to or add a new one

  5. Enter the amount of the transfer and choose which account you’d like to send the money from

  6. Give specific details as to who you’re sending the payment to and why, then Continue

  7. Click Agree and send payment

You’ll receive a Wire Code Confirmation via text message. Once received, reach out to our Customer Care Team in the app or online to quote the code. NOTE: You will need to be logged in to your NorthOne Account to do so.

Domestic wire transfers are processed the same business day if received by 3:30 PM EST Monday to Friday. If received after that time, funds will be sent the following business day. With your NorthOne Standard Account, domestic wires cost $20 to send and $20 to receive. For NorthOne Plus Customers, domestic wires cost $15 to send and $20 to receive. Your NorthOne Mastercard® Small Business Debit Card* needs to be activated to send a domestic wire transfer.

There is an outbound domestic wire transfer limit of $200,000 max per wire, per calendar day.

NorthOne can only facilitate domestic wire transfers. International wire transfers are not supported.

Please note that some banks have different routing numbers for receiving a domestic wire transfer versus an ACH. Confirm your recipient’s account details to make sure they get the funds without any problems
