A temporary debit authorization hold affects your account balance.

On debit card purchases, merchants may request a temporary hold on your account for a specified sum of money, which may be more than the actual amount of your purchase. Final adjustments made by the merchant will be made in a maximum of 30 days.

Please note that when you use your NorthOne Mastercard® Debit Card for hotel or car rental authorizations, the original authorization will be held for the full 30 days.

NorthOne is a financial technology company, and not a bank.

Banking services are provided by The Bancorp Bank; N.A., Member FDIC.

The NorthOne Mastercard® Small Business Debit Card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, pursuant to license by Mastercard International Incorporated. Mastercard is a registered trademark, and the circles design is a trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated.
