At North One, we understand that business owners need to send money fast. We’re happy to offer faster ACH processing for all North One customers. With the Faster method, the ACH will be sent same-day if initiated before 3 PM ET Monday - Friday. If the cutoff is missed, or the ACH is initiated on a weekend or holiday, the ACH will be sent the following business day.

North One Standard customers will incur a fee of 1.5% the transaction amount ($1.00 minimum, $15.00 maximum). North One Plus customers will have no fee for this feature. There is a limit of $50,000 per outbound ACH per day.

Here’s how to send a same-day ACH transfer through the mobile app:

  1. From your home screen, click Send ACH, or click Pay at the bottom of your screen at any point

  2. Select Send an ACH payment

  3. Choose Same-day and click Continue

  4. Choose the recipient you’d like to send to or add a new one, then click Continue

  5. Input the amount of the ACH, and the Envelope you’d like to pay from. You can also edit your recipient from this screen if necessary

  6. Click Continue

  7. You’ll be given the option to notify the recipient via email, but you can skip this if you’d prefer

  8. Select Send Payment

To send from a desktop browser:

  1. Click Pay at the top of your screen

  2. Choose Send an ACH payment

  3. Select the Same-day option and click Continue

  4. Choose an existing recipient or add a new one, then click Continue

  5. Choose the recipient you’d like to send to or add a new one, then click Continue

  6. Input the amount of the ACH, and the Envelope you’d like to pay from. You can also edit your recipient from this screen if necessary

  7. Select Send Payment

Please note that some banks have different routing numbers for receiving an ACH versus receiving a wire. Make sure you’ve confirmed with the recipient their correct account details to ensure they’ll receive the money you have sent.
