How do I send a wire transfer?

Domestic wire transfers are processed same-day if initiated by 3:30 PM EST Monday to Friday.

Domestic wire transfers are processed the same business day if initiated by 3:30 PM ET Monday to Friday. If initiated after that time, funds will be sent the following business day. For North One Standard customers there is a $20 fee to send a wire, for North One Plus customers there is a $15 fee. Domestic wire transfers cost $0 to receive for all North One customers.

Your North One Mastercard® Small Business Debit Card needs to be activated to send a domestic wire transfer. There is an outbound domestic wire transfer limit of $200,000 per wire, per calendar day. North One can only facilitate domestic wire transfers, international wire transfers are not supported.

Here’s how to send a domestic wire transfer from the North One app:

  1. From your home screen, click Send Wire, or click Pay at the bottom of your screen at any point

  2. Select Domestic wire

  3. Confirm or enter your recipient information for the wire

  4. Input the Amount of the wire

  5. Select Send Payment

Here’s how to send a wire transfer from your web browser:

  1. Click Pay on the top of your screen

  2. Select Domestic wire

  3. Choose an existing recipient or add a new recipient

  4. Input the amount of the Wire, and the Envelope you’d like to pay from. You can also edit your recipient from this screen if necessary

  5. Select Send Payment

You’ll receive a Wire Code Confirmation via text message.* Once received, reach out to our Customer Care Team in the app or online to quote the code. NOTE: You will need to be logged in to your North One Account to do so.

Please note that some banks have different routing numbers for receiving a domestic wire transfer versus an ACH. Confirm your recipient’s account details to make sure they get the funds without any problems
