What is a rebate? A rebate is a financial incentive, essentially a refund, that will be processed to your North One Account after making a purchase at a participating institution.
Fuel Network Rebates
Cardholders can earn a 1% rebate on fuel purchases at participating locations. For a full list of participating locations, click here and enter your city or ZIP. Please note that Mastercard has the right to add or remove participating locations at any time.
In order to receive a rebate through the Fuel Network, make sure the card is being rung as 'credit', rather that 'debit'. A rebate will not be issued at Fuel Network locations if the charge is run as a 'debit' charge.
As long as the transaction is being run as a 'credit' charge, you can earn a 1% rebate on purchases up to $100. For instance, if you spend $90 at a participating location, you can expect to receive a $0.90 rebate applied to your North One Account.
The rebate is typically processed 2-3 business days after the authorization hold expires. Authorization holds generally expire within 7 business days (click here for more info).
Hotel Network Rebates
Your North One Mastercard® Debit Card can earn you a 4% rebate on your stay at over 6,000 hotel locations. Please note that there is a maximum rebate of $20 for each transaction. For a full list of participating locations, just click the link here and enter the city or ZIP where you're looking to stay.
There is no specific requirement for how the charge is run in order to receive a rebate, and the rebate is processed 2-3 business days after the authorization hold expires.
Keep in mind that with hotel purchases, it can take up to 30 business days for the authorization hold to expire and your transaction to finalize (click here for more info).
Restaurant Network Rebates
The Restaurant Network provides North One Account owners with a 4% rebate at over 20,000 restaurant locations. For a full list of participating locations, just click the link here and enter your city or ZIP.
There is no specific requirement for how the charge is run in order to receive a rebate. The rebate is processed with tax and gratuity included, and will be available 2-3 business days after the authorization hold expires. Authorization holds generally expire within 7 business days (click here for more info).
I didn't receive my Rebate, now what?
