Like your physical card, your Virtual Card can be used for both online and in-store purchases. To make an online payment, simply log into your NorthOne Account and click "Cards", then "Virtual". From there you'll be able to see your card information to input on the website's payment portal.
For in-store purchases, you'll need to add your card to your Digital Wallet.
To add your Virtual Card to your Apple Wallet:
Head to the Wallet App on your iPhone
Tap the + icon
Tap "Debit or Credit" to add a new card
Enter your card information, or take a photo of the card
Request the verification code via email
Once received, enter the code in your Wallet App
All set! You can now use your card to tap with Apple Pay
To add your Virtual Card to your Google Wallet:
Open the Wallet App on your Android phone
Tap the + icon
Tap "Payment Card"
Tap "New Credit or Debit Card"
Enter your card information, or take a photo of the card
Request the verification code via email
Once received, enter the code in your Wallet App
All set! You can now use your card to tap with Google Pay
While most merchants can accept digital payments, some merchants (such as Walmart) do not. If you're experiencing a decline, see our article here for troubleshooting.
Note: Your Virtual Card will not have a PIN assigned. If you're being asked for a PIN while using your Virtual Card, it's possible it's being rung through as Debit instead of Credit. Or, if you've set up a PIN on your Digital Wallet, this may be the one that is being requested.
