At NorthOne, we understand that business owners need the ability to send checks. We’re happy to offer the ability to send a check, for a $4 fee.
Currently, the ability to send checks from your NorthOne Account is only available in the mobile app.
Here’s how to do send a physical check right from your NorthOne Account:
Log into your NorthOne Account on the mobile app
Click Pay at the top of the homepage
Click Send a check
Select a previous recipient, or click Add a new recipient and follow the prompts
Enter the value of the check
Add a memo to your check
You can now let your recipient know your check is on the way by entering in their email address. They will be notified by email that your check payment is on its way.
Note: the receiver has the ability to opt out of receiving these notifications.
Review & click Send payment
The recipient should receive that physical check in the mail 3-9 business days after the date the payment was initiated. At the time of initiation, there will be a $4 fee charged to your NorthOne Account.
If the recipient does not deposit the check within 180 days, the check will expire and the funds will return to your NorthOne Account. You will receive a notification in-app when your recipient has deposited the check.
